About us
At Valencia Best Places, we share a passion for Valencia, its cuisine, its culture, and all those places that have the power to become memories.
Behind this project are Grupo El Alto and Groovelives Team—two teams that have combined our expertise to create spaces where cuisine, music, culture, and people come together naturally.
Behind each venue is a multidisciplinary team that makes it all possible every day: more than 1,000 professionals working in the kitchen, front of house, mixology, production, housekeeping, maintenance, communications, marketing, operations, and event management.

We have evolved into one of the leading experience platforms in the Valencian Community.
Our vision brings together gastronomy, the region, and sustainability. From the historic center of Valencia to the Albufera, the Valencian huerta, the Mediterranean, and restored historic estates, each location offers the chance to discover a different facet of the destination through its flavors, landscapes, and way of life.
In addition to this network of spaces, there are more than 50 hectares of the organization’s own agricultural production, heritage restoration projects, culinary innovation initiatives, and a firm commitment to a more conscious form of tourism that is connected to the local environment. This model highlights local products, Mediterranean culture, and the people who keep the region alive.
Maravella’s vegetable garden, located just a few meters from the table, allows us to work with seasonal produce grown according to organic standards—from heirloom tomatoes and Valencian peppers to artichokes, citrus fruits, and unique varieties such as citrus caviar and kumquats. This approach brings the countryside closer to the plate and makes the product’s origin part of the experience.
This vision extends to places like Masía El Pinar, an estate nestled in the Sierra Calderona region where agriculture, heritage, nature, and culinary research coexist. There, we spearhead projects focused on edible plants and flowers, the revival of traditional knowledge, and new ways to connect cuisine, health, and the local landscape.
Our commitment to the landscape is also reflected in the restoration of historic sites such as La Barraca del Palmar and San Antonio de Padua, where architecture, culture, and daily life coexist once again while respecting the original identity of each place.
At some of these sites, we’ve even revived historic activities tied to the region, such as winemaking and traditional farming.
All of this is part of a shared vision of tourism: authentic experiences that allow visitors to discover Valencia through its huerta, its farms, its cuisine, its heritage, and the people who keep this legacy alive.
From a rooftop in Plaza del Ayuntamiento to a working huerta next to the Albufera, we work to bring Valencia closer to those who wish to experience it in a more authentic, connected, and memorable way.
